He boosted my grades from a 6 and a 7 to two 9's and was able to help me improve my weaknesses over a short period of time. He offered a unique perspective independent of my teacher's, which helped me understand texts from a different point of view and helped formulate my own opinion, and allowed me to question areas of the text I didn't fully understand and went into more detail, something perhaps you wouldn't always be able to do with your teacher. Laith was critical but always open to another interpretation and would give me practice questions which he would mark so we could evaluate areas I needed to improve but also areas he was impressed with, which let me excel in my exams.
